You Know You Are...

You know you are getting unfit when you go for a run along your regular "quick run about the block" route, and it takes you 48min instead of the usual 42min - and you know you pushed as hard as you usually do. 

You know you are getting on in years when you go for said "quick run about the block" and pass a group of 14/15yr old schoolboys going in the opposite direction. One claps you on, while another greets you with "Hi, ma'am" - I guess I am almost double their age, eek!

You know you winter has been "kind" when you look a bit rounder on the edges than normal and you have a particular sluggish feeling when carrying those extra couple of kg's uphill...

I think my Spring training should start now already!!!
