Argus 2009 Entries Open
Submitted by Inky on Wed, 2008-09-03 20:42
If you haven't already heard, the entries for next year's Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour are open as of 1 September.
As usual with the Argus, entries are on first come first served basis, so you'd better be quick about it as the 35 000 spaces tend to be snapped up quite fast. This year it'll cost you R210 if you're a PPA member and about R240 if you're not.
Every year they seem to upgrade the website and this year it's looking really great. Pretty much the same functions as the last few versions, but now it's nice, clean and straightforward. When entering at 14:03 on the 1st September, the system worked really smoothly, which is quite impressive!
I'm not going to write about what the Argus is about, or why one should do it - you should know all that by now!! So whip out your credit card and get entering, then dust off your bike and start riding...!
Where: Cape Town
When: 8 March 2009
What: 109km and 1000m climb
