Table Mountain Cable Card

Table Mountain Cable Card

Yeeha!  I've got my card at last.  It took more than a month to get my act together, but now I am sorted.

At the Plattekllip Charity Challenge earlier this year I won 2 Cable Card vouchers.  This card, which can be bought for R490, allows the bearer 1 return trip on the Cable Car every day for a year.  When you consider that it currently costs R180 return, this is a HUGE saver.

Use it 3 times and it's already paid for itself.

For active people who regularly run around the mountain, it means you can run up, do a loop at the top and take the car down - all before heading to work.

For the less active, you can pop up the cable car on your lunch break, share your sarmie with a Dassie, and be back within the hour.  You can image the post-lunch conversation around the coffee machine:

A: "So, what did you do for lunch?"
B: "Had leftovers at my desk, caught up on facebook.  And you?"
A: "Oh, nothing much, contemplated life from the top of the mountain, you can see for miles today..."

Mike and I are now proud owners of these valuable cards.  Upon getting them, we went straight up, wandered for 10mins and came back down again. Nice.

And when it's your birthday, and you decide to take up their offer of a free trip, we can jon you as rent-a-crowd.
But we recommend a Cable Card - it's worth it!
